BABE RUTH: Outstanding signed photo of Ruth playing baseball! Quintessential photos of Ruth swinging his massive bat and wearing the bottom half of his New York Yankees pinstripes. Boldly signed, inscribed & dated "To my good friend Merla Mills from Babe Ruth 6-15-1948", 7 ½” x 9 ¼”; slightly trimmed edges, some creasing & minor wear and boasting a strong near mint to mint blue fountain pen signature. Of historical note just 2 days prior to signing this photo, Ruth made his final appearance at Yankee Stadium where he was forever immortalized by Nat Fein's Pulitzer Prize winning photo "The Babe Bows Out".
