Vintage signed and inscribed color 10 x 13 photograph of Kennedy standing in a three quarter length profile pose behind his desk. Kennedy appears opposite George Smathers and the two men engage in light hearted conversation. Signed by Kennedy in bold black ink across a light area at the base of the image, with a lengthy inscription, “For George Smathers one of the distinguished older members of the Senate - with the esteem and regards of his old friend, John F Kennedy”. Matted in white to an overall size of 14 x 17.5. Kennedy's inscription and signature are very clean and bold. Some light staining and minor age wear at the base of the image.
